South Key Plaza Project

South key plaza

// Project Description

South Quay Plaza is a slender 68-storey glass tower developed by Berkeley and designed by Foster + Partners. South Quay Plaza is one of the tallest residential buildings in Europe.

Our team installed two 68 floor lifts on this prestigious project.

JH Elevators Ltd assisted Kone on this project. This project was the first Kone “Ultrarope” installation in the United Kingdom. Kone’s innovative Ultrarope technology makes it possible for residential buildings to rise to new heights as cities grow upwards. At the same time, the new, lighter technology leads to lower energy consumption and an improved people flow experience.

JH Elevators Ltd managed the site logistics on behalf of Kone throughout the project. Our team also carried out lift protection, including six lift cars for CTU, landing doors and architraves.
